Download & Install

Download the free 90-day trial: CASTR.zip. Unzip it, then run CASTR.exe. The trial includes a sample project plus 2 additional projects you can create. Install and run it to view your unique Machine ID.

Enter your Machine ID, email and name below. Submitting opens a pre-filled email request — no payment is required.

Receive Your License

A license key tied to your machine will be emailed to you, typically within 24 hours.

Staying Up to Date

CASTR notifies you in-app when a new release is available and when your upgrade coverage is nearing expiry. You can keep running your current version forever, or renew upgrade coverage ($49.99) to unlock the latest build.

What does the free license include?

A perpetual license to run CASTR on one machine, at no cost, plus 12 months of free upgrades to any new releases published during that window.

What happens after 12 months?

Your installed version keeps working forever. To unlock releases published after your coverage window, renew upgrade coverage ($49.99) for another 12 months of upgrades.

If I renew early, do I lose the time I have left?

No. A renewal adds 12 months to your existing coverage end date, not to the date you pay. For example, if your coverage ends on March 31 and you renew on March 1, your new end date is March 31 of the following year — you keep every day you already had. If your coverage has already expired, the new 12 months start on the day you renew, so you are never charged for time that has already passed.

Do I have to renew?

No. Renewal is optional. You only need it if you want the newest releases.

I bought CASTR before v1.7 — does this affect me?

No. Licenses purchased before v1.7 include lifetime upgrades at no additional cost. You will continue to receive all future releases free of charge.

How long does it take to receive my license?

Licenses are typically delivered within 24 hours of your request. You will receive an email with your license key and activation instructions.

Can I transfer my license to another computer?

Each license is tied to a specific Machine ID. If you need to move to a new computer, contact us and we will issue a replacement license at no charge.

Is there a refund policy?

The perpetual license is free, so there is nothing to refund. For upgrade-coverage renewals, contact us within 30 days of payment if you experience any issues and we will issue a full refund.
